帯状角膜変性症と診断された4例の組織学的検索

Histological Studies on the Ribbon-shaped Opacity of the Cornea

緒言

　帯状角膜変性症は1848年英国のDixon氏にょつて，初めて記載され，我国では明治32年河本氏により，初めて発表されたものであり，以来多くの報告を見る。帯状角膜変性症はその成因により，原発性，続発性の2型に区別されているが，その組織所見は1849年Bowman氏により，ボーマン氏膜に石灰沈着があることを報告されて以来，硝子様物質，脂肪，澱粉様物質等の沈着することが報告されている。

　私は臨床上，帯状角膜変性症と診断された4例につき，組織的に検索し得たので発表する。

Four cases of Cornea opacities, which were diagnosed clinicaly as Ribbon-shaped Opacity, were investigated histologicaly.

The author concluded as follows.

Degenerative masses in the opacity were calcareous deposits.

In first case, calcareun sdeposits existed between the epithelum and the superficial lamellae, and they formed membranous layer.

In the other cases, deposits existed in lamellae, and formed membranous layer, but new connective tissues wnich suround the layer were not existent, so calcareous deposits seem to occur originally in the Iammellae.
