Clinical Experience with Inteban Spansule Capsule

I．緒言

　非ステロイド系抗炎症剤であるIndo—methacin （商品名インテバン）の眼科領域における応用については，先に報告^1）を行なつたが，手術後の刺激症状に対して82％，炎症性眼疾患に対し67％の有効率が得られている。

　副作用としては85例中，9例に頭重，頭痛，めまい，胃部不快感，食欲不振などが認められたが，いずれも軽度で投薬中止により消失した。

Indomethacin ("Inteban"), a non-steroid anti inflammatory agent, has proved effective for suppression of postsurgical irritations and inflam-matory ocular diseases totalling 85 cases (J. Clin. Ophth. 23 : 407, 1969,). A clinical evaluation was conducted over the systemic use of Inteban Spansule Capsule which was developed for sustained effects and lesser side actions. The present material comprised a total of 30 cases which included cases following intraocular sur-gery, cases of anterior and posterior uveitis and herpetic keratopathies. Beneficial effect was observed in 80% of the cases.
