特発性破嚢により眼圧急性上昇をきたしたSteroid Cataractaの1例

Lens-induced Glaucoma due to spontaneous rupture of the anterior lens capsule in a Case with Steroid Cataract

I．緒言

　1960年Blackらは長期間副腎皮質ホルモンの全身投与を行なつたリウマチ性関節炎患者に，高率に後嚢下白内障が発生することを記載した。以来，ステロイド白内障はいわゆる医原性疾患の一つとして注目されている。

　ステロイド白内障は通常後嚢下に限局し，一般に急速に進行することはなく，比較的良好な視力を保持するものが多い。

Posterior subcapsular opacity developed bila-terally in a 12-year-old boy following treatment with systemic prednisolone (125 mg given every other day) for nephrosis for 10 weeks. The case was diagnosed as steroid cataract upon grounds of typical clinical and anamnetic findings. The visual acuity was not impaired and the opacity remained stationary until the anterior cortex in the pupillary region protruded to form lentiglo-bus in the left eye 18 months later. High myopia of-10 diopters was confirmed retinoscopically.
