目的：ラタノプロストが奏効しない症例に対するレボブノロールの効果の報告。対象と方法：ラタノプロストが奏効しない10症例に対してレボブノロールを1日1回点眼し，眼圧下降効果を検討した。症例の内訳は原発開放隅角緑内障1例と正常眼圧緑内障9例であり，それぞれベースライン眼圧が高い眼を対象とした。結果：ベースライン眼圧は19.1±5.0mmHgであった。切り替え後，眼圧は1か月後16.2±2.9mmHg，2か月後15.8±3.2mmHg，3か月後15.2±4.1mmHgと，それぞれ有意に下降した。3か月後の眼圧下降率は19.8±10.0％であった。結論：ラタノプロストが奏効しない症例に対しレボブノロールは有効である。

Purpose：To report the effect of topical levobunolol on latanoprost nonresponders. Cases and Method：Ten patients who failed to respsond to latanoprost received instillation of levobunolol once a day. The series comprised one patient of primary open-angle glaucoma and 9 patients of normal-tension glaucoma. Their age ranged from 21 to 81 years,average 62 years. The eye with higher baseline intraocular pressure（IOP）was subjected to the study. Results：Baseline IOP averaged 19.1±5.0mmHg. IOP averaged 16.2±2.9mmHg after one month of switching,15.8±3.2mmHg after 2months,and 15.2±4.1mmHg after 3months. Differences from baseline IOP were significant. Rate of IOP decrease from baseline value averaged 19.8±10.0％. Conclusion：Levobunolol was effective in latanoprost nonresponders.
