正常眼圧緑内障におけるラタノプロスト単剤変更1年後の眼圧，視野，視神経乳頭形状の検討

Intraocular pressure,visual field and shape of optic disc after one year of latanoprost monotherapy

正常眼圧緑内障15例25眼につき，それまでのラタノプロスト以外の眼圧下降薬をラタノプロスト単剤に変更し，1年後の眼圧，視野，乳頭の形状を計画的に検索した。被検者の年齢は42～82歳（平均68歳）であった。視野測定にはハンフリー視野計，乳頭の形状測定にはHeidelberg Retina Tomographを用いた。眼圧はbaseline値が15.1±2.6mmHgであり，変更1年後の値が13.4±2.2mmHgで有意に下降した（p＜0.01）。視野ではmean deviation値が有意に改善した。乳頭の形状には各パラメータに有意な変化がなかった。ラタノプロストは正常眼圧緑内障に対して有意な眼圧下降効果があり，少なくとも1年間は視野と乳頭の形状につき現状維持ができると結論される。

A prospective study was made on 25 eyes of 15 cases of normal-tension glaucoma who had been treated by topical medication other than latanoprost. The medication was switched to latanoprost only. All the eyes were evaluated as to intraocular pressure（IOP）,visual field and morphology of the optic disc before and one year after treatment with latanoprost. The ages of patients ranged from 42 to 82 years,average 68 years. The IOP averaged 15.1±2.6 mmHg before and 13.4±2.2 mmHg one year after treatment by latanoprost. The difference was significant（p＜0.01）. Visual field showed improved mean deviation. No changes had set in regarding parameters of optic disc morphology. The findings show that latanoprost induces hypotensive effect in normal-tension glaucoma and that it stabilizes the visual field and optic disc morphology for at least one year.
