I.緒言
我々は数年来,脳腫瘍の脂質脂酸代謝に注目し,薄層クロマトグラフィーあるいはガスクロマトグラフィーを用いて,研究9)18)〜20)を続けて来た。今回は,脳腫瘍組織の脂酸と,髄液脂酸との間の関連性を追求するため,同一症例における術前の髄液と手術により摘出した腫瘍組織の脂酸構成をガスクロマトグラフィーにより分析し,アラキジン酸内部標準法を用いて,各脂酸を定量した。また臨床症状としては意識障害をとり上げ,意識障害時における脂酸の変化について検討した。
On the quantative composition of fatty acid, tumor tissue and C. S. F. in 15 cases of brain tumor were studied and compaired with 5 cases of normal brain tissue (white and gray matter) and C. S. F.
The brain tumors are glioma, meningioma and metastatic carcinoma in each 5 cases.
The analized results in brain tumor group differed from normal group. However, these were no signi-ficant change between three kinds of tumors.
The change of fatty acid composition in brain tumor was shown in connection with the distur-bance of consciousness, especially, the fatty acid of C. S.F. increased according to grade of distur-bance of consciousness.
From above results, we considered as following : The fatty acid metabolism in brain tumor differes from normal brain, and this metabolism in glioma is similar to those of meningioma and metastatic carcinoma. Then, this metabolism in brain tumor changes according to grade of disturbance of con-sciousness.
