気管支平滑筋におけるカルシウム拮抗剤（etafenone hydrochloride）の作用について

Effect of calcium antagonist (etafenone hydrochloride) on the isolated guinea pig tracheal tissues

　骨格筋の収縮系にはカルシウムイオンが必要であるとするカルシウム説が提唱されて以来，筋収縮のメカニズムにおけるカルシウムイオンの役割が重要視されるに到り，今日では気管支平滑筋においてもカルシウムイオン（Ca^2＋）は細胞膜の興奮性および収縮機構に対する直接的活性化因子として作用し，その収縮機構においてきわめて重要な役割を演じている可能性が示唆されるようになった。

　著者らは，Ca^2＋流入抑制剤であるverapamilが種々の気管支拡張剤の作用を増強すると共に，気管支収縮剤の作用も減弱することを報告した^1）。

Etafenone hydrochloride, a calcium antagonist, is known to increase coronary arterial blood flow without cardiac stimulating effect.

Male guinea pigs, weighing 250-300g, were killed. Tracheal tissues, were suspended in a bioassay glass chamber superfused with Krebs-Henseleit solution at 37℃ saturated with oxygen and carbon dioxide (95 : 5, v/v).

Contraction and relaxation of these tissues were detected by an isotonic transducer and recorded using a polyrecorder.
