It is possible to perform qualitative and depth diagnosis of superficial esophageal cancer using magnifying observation endoscope. In 2012, the Esophagus Society Classification was developed as an expanded endoscopic classification of superficial esophageal cancer and became indispensable for diagnosis. B3 vessels and AVA(avascular area)are important findings for depth diagnosis, whereas Type R blood vessels are important findings for qualitative diagnosis. In this paper, the features and significance of these vascular findings have been explained.
