内視鏡下低侵襲手術分野におけるインターネットテキスト導入の現状

Internet Education in the Field of Minimally Invasive Surgery

　革新的な手術手技である内視鏡下手術の教育・トレーニング法の確立を目的とし，内視鏡外科医を対象としたインターネットテキストとして，われわれはVirtual University（WebSurg）の概念を築いてきた．標準化された手術術式をカラーイラストにアニメーション効果を加えて説明したうえ，実際の手術とエキスパートのコメントを収録したビデオを使用して，手術のコツとピットフォールについて解説している．インターネット教育では，品質を維持したうえで，内容を評価するガイドラインや専門家のための倫理コードを徹底させることが提唱されている．これらの問題を解決しながら，WebSurgが内視鏡外科医の教育に貢献することが期待される．

　Since the introduction of the revolutionary methodology of laparoscopic surgery, surgeons have faced various problems that have not been addressed by ordinary text-books. Because the approach of laparoscopic surgery is quite different from that of open surgery, surgeons require a lot of experience to be proficient in the maneuvers. Moreover, as the pace of growth of laparoscopic surgery is impressive, new methods of education and training are in demand. At WebSurg, we have developed the concept of the Virtual University for surgeons in the field of laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgery.
