Training System of Endoscopic Surgery in France

　腹腔鏡下胆嚢摘出術において，内視鏡外科手術普及の先鞭をつけたフランスにおけるトレーニング・システムの概要を述べた．フランスにおいても内視鏡外科手術のトレーニングは各外科医個人の修練意欲に委ねられているのが現状である．しかし，内視鏡外科手術の修得と向上に情熱をもったフランスの外科医は欧州のみならず，世界でも指折りのシステムをもった国内の施設でトレーニングを受けることができる．

We describe the current status of training system of endoscopic surgery in France. Despite the pioneering ef-fort in the field of endoscopic surgery by some French surgeons, the training system has not been established in public and it depends on each surgeon's enthusiasm. However, if French surgeons might pursue the-state-of-the-art skills in endoscopic surgery, they could train themselves in some French institution which is recog-nized as one of the best centers not only in Europe but also in the world.
