◆要旨：腹腔鏡下鼠径ヘルニア修復術を施行したスポーツヘルニアの1例を報告する．患者は63歳の男性で若い頃は野球選手であった．ソフトボールで全力疾走すると右鼠径部痛を発症し，安静で軽快することを繰り返していた．近医で保存的治療が行われたが軽快しなかったために当院を受診した．現病歴，理学的所見からスポーツヘルニアを疑い手術を行った．腹腔鏡の観察で結合腱に裂孔を認めたためスポーツヘルニアと診断し，経腹腔的腹腔鏡下鼠径ヘルニア修復術を行った．術後の経過は良好で術後2日目に退院した．術後1か月目からソフトボールを開始しているが，症状の再発は全くない．
We report a patient with sportsman's hernia that was treated by laparoscopic hernia repair. A 63 year-old man was a baseball player during his youth. He repeatedly had right inguinal pain when he dashed for softball, but his pain would subside at rest. He came to our hospital because of frequent recurrence of pain. The pain was diagnosed as sportsman's hernia from the history and the physical examination. A tear of conjoined tendon was detected by laparoscopy, and transabdominal preperitoneal laparoscopic hernia repair was performed. The patient had a good postoperative course and he was discharged on the 2 nd postoperative day. He started playing softball from 30 th postoperative day, and, since then, has not experienced right inguinal pain.
