Three Cases of Cowden's Disease

I．はじめに

　Cowden's diseaseは特徴ある顔面の小丘疹，四肢末端の角化性丘疹，口腔粘膜の広汎なポリポージスに加えて甲状腺，乳房，消化管，生殖器など全身の多種多様な過誤腫を合併する疾患で，1963年Lloidら^1）が第1例を報告して以来世界で数十例の報告をみるが，本邦ではわれわれが検索した限りでは1983年の生野ら^2）の報告をはじめとして学会報告例を含めいずれも皮膚科領域からの3例の報告があるにすぎず，きわめて珍しい疾患である。われわれは最近Cowden's diseaseの典型的と思われる3症例を経験したので報告する。

　Three cases of Cowden's disease presented facial papules, acral keratosis, palmoplantar keratosis, oral mucosal papillomatosis and gastrointestinal polyps. In the patients and their family members, subset levels of the peripheral blood lymphocytes were determined by reactivity with monoclonal antibodies. The results showed that the percentage of OKT³⁺, OKT⁴⁺ cells below the lower normal limits.

　These results and the further immunological studies of the patients with Cowden's disease may be beneficial in defining this disease entity.
