I．はじめに

　口腔領域に発生する類皮嚢胞および類表皮嚢胞は頬部，口唇，舌，顎骨などにもみられるが一般には口腔底正中部に多い。しかもこの部位のものは巨大な腫瘤を形成しやすく^1,10），摂食困難や発語障害，時には呼吸困難などもきたす点で臨床的にも重要である。今回われわれは巨大な口腔底の類表皮嚢胞の1例を経験したので報告する。

　A 66-year-old male complained of difficulty of speaking and swallowing due to a swelling of the floor of the mouth.

　Substance obtained by a needle aspiration was white-yellowish, cheesy substance. The complete extirpation of the cyst was not feasible, and only marsupialization was performed.

　 Histopathological examination revealed epidermoid cyst. Postoperative course was favorable and there were neither recurrence nor interference with eating and speaking.
