睾丸類表皮嚢胞の1例

EPIDERMOID CYST OF THE TESTIS: A CASE REPORT

緒言

　睾丸腫瘍は周知のように大部分が悪性であり，良性腫瘍は2〜4％を占めるに過ぎない。今回われわれは良性の睾丸腫瘍の一つである類表皮嚢胞の1例を経験し，嚢胞摘出術を施行したので報告するとともに，本邦症例につき若干の考察を加えた。

A 15 year-old boy was seen with the complaint of a painful nodule in the right scrotal content. The small nodule was located at the upper portion of the right testicle. Laboratory findings including serum-α-fetoprotein were within normal limits. Upon admission, the pain had almost subsided. The diagnosis was torsion of appendix of the right testis. Through scrotal incision, an appendix of the testis was removed. The well-capsulated mass in the size of a thumb tip was located in the grossly normal testicular tissue.
