I．緒言

　上咽頭奇形腫は比較的稀有な疾患であり，その発生部位から哺乳障害，呼吸困難などの症状で乳幼児期に発見されることが多い。最近われわれはきわめて経過の長い腫瘍にもかかわらず，症状をあまり呈さない成人女子の奇形腫に遭遇したので，いささかの文献的考察を加えて報告する。

　A case of teratoma occurring in the left epipharynx of a 20-year-old woman was reported. The teratoma extended from the epipharynx into the left piriform sinus with a slender pedicle attached near to the torus tubarius and measured 6×1.5cm. It was composed of three germ layers, e.g. squamous epithelium, fatty tissue, bone, acinous glands, nervous tissue and upper respiratory epithelium. It was resected and histologically diagnosed as teratoma.
