I．はじめに

　脂質様物質を含む類皮腫，類上皮腫，奇形腫などの先天性脳腫瘍は，CT上，負あるいは低吸収系数を示すのが特徴的であり，これが脳室系に発育する場合には髄液と同じような低吸収系数で描出されることや，脳室内発生の頻度も極めて稀なため診断が困難となることも少なくなく，また腫瘍が小さければ，さらに困難となる．

　最近，著者らは右モンロー孔を閉塞せる小指頭大の側脳室内腫瘍で，CT　上，脳室内にfrce fatを認め，術前にこれを先天性脳腫瘍と診断し，かつ令摘出術にて完治せしめた症例を経験したので，若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する．

Intracranial fat-containing congenital tumors arecharacterized by negative absorption values on com-puted tomography (CT).

We are reporting a case of teratoma with intraven-tricular free fat diagnosed preoperatively by CT.The case is a 19-year-old female who was admitted toour hospital because of contineous severe headache,nausea and vomiting.

At the time of admission, her physical and neuro-logical examination was negative except for bilateralpapilledema. CT demonstrated marked enlargementof the right lateral ventricle.
