I．はじめに

　結核性疾患は化学療法の進歩により急速に減少をみたが，耳鼻咽喉科領域における日常診療において頸部リンパ節結核は今日でも時に遭遇することがあり，結核性疾患を念頭において診療にあたる必要がある。

　われわれは，最近，結核性疾患の中では稀である耳下腺結核を経験したので報告し，あわせて本邦報告例について若干の文献的考察を行った。

　A one-year and six-month-old boy complained of a swelling of the right parotid region of one month'duration. The swelling of the parotid gland, 4 × 3.5 cm, was hard but partially fluctuated. A needle aspiration of the parotid gland was carried out, and pus was stained by Ziehl-Neelson method, and then mycobacterium tuberculosis (Gaffky V) was found.

　The patient was treated with PAS and INAH for 9 months, and also treated with local irrigation of Stensen's duct with SM solution (0.5 g) once a week. The patient cured after about 9 months.

　Fourty-seven cases of parotid tuberculosis were reported in the literature in Japan, from 1925 to 1982. Age distribution were 10 months old to 82 years old, usually occured in the first, the second and third dicade, and male and female were almost equally affected.
