耳下腺結核の4例

TUBERCULOSIS IN THE PAROTID GLAND, REPORT OF FOUR CASES

　I．緒言

　結核の罹患率および死亡率は，戦後のストレプトマイシン，ヒドラジド，PASやリファンビシンなどの抗結核剤の開発，結核対策の推進，ならびに国民の生活水準の向上などにより，著明な減少をみている。昭和50年の厚生省統計では，罹患率は人口10万人当り96.6人となつており^1），患者数は年々減少している。

　それに伴い，われわれ耳鼻咽喉科領域における結核も少なくなつてきており，耳下腺結核の報告は最近10年間で4例をみるのみである^2）3）。

　Four cases of the parotid gland tuberculosis are reported, and in all cases lymph nodes in the parotid gland were involved.

　Two cases were thought to be secondary from pulmonary tuberculosis disseminated by lymphatic pathway, and the primary of the others were unknown.

　Diagnosis was established by histological examination after surgery.

　Recovery in three cases was attained by treatment with surgical intervention and anti-tuberculous drugs, and the other was treated successfully with surgery alone, because of pregnancy.
