癌専門病院からみた咽頭の感覚異常—主として頭頸部以外に病変を有する場合の病因的考察

Paresthesia of the Pharynx Examined in the Cancer Hospital

　I．はじめに

　疼痛や異和感，つまる感じ，嚥下困難など咽頭の種々の症状を主訴として耳鼻科を受診する患者は多いが，そのなかには，初診時の耳鼻科的診察では，一見したところ全く異常を認めない場合も多くみられる。

　今回我々は，このような咽頭の感覚異常だけを主訴とする患者のうち，一定期間の観察後に症状の改善のみられなかった症例に対して，血液生化学検査，胸部X線撮影，上部消化管造影，内視鏡等の諸検査を施行してその病因を追求したところ，胃癌，食道癌などの悪性腫瘍をはじめとし，貧血，胃十二指腸潰瘍，胃ポリープなどの種々の疾患が見出された。

　316 patients with paresthesia of the pharynx due to disorders except for head and neck lesions, who visited our hospital from 1976 to 1981, were etiologically examined.

　There were eight stomach cancers and four esophageal cancers. It may be said that patients above 60 years of age should be examined the digestive organs, if they complained of parasthesia of the pharynx for more than two months.

　Anemia was the other cause of paresthesia, and it was found in 19 patients (18 females) and the average of hemoglobin values was 9.2 g/dl.
