特殊な形態を呈した正中頸嚢腫の1症例

A Case of Gourd-shaped Thyroglossal Duct Cyst

I．はじめに

　舌骨を上下から挟むような形で発生した二室性の正中頸嚢腫の1例を報告する。一般に単室性にしか発生しない正中頸嚢腫がいかにして二室性になったかという点について，臨床経過を中心に考察を行った。

　この二室性の正中頸嚢腫の非常に稀なことを強調すると同時に，二室性の正中頸嚢腫の臨床症状の特徴を列挙する。

　A case of biloculated thylogrossal duct cyst in a 44-year-old female was reported. There were two cysts, one above the hyoid bone and the other below. A fistula was found in front of thehyoid bone, and it was communicating between two cysts.

　The emphasis was placed upon the morphological feature of the cysts, and it was recognized that Sistrunk's procedure is reasonable for removal of the thyloglossal duct cyst clinicoanatomically.
