Nasal Glioma; Report of a Case

　I．はじめに

　1900年，Schmidtが，外鼻に発生した先天性異所性神経膠細胞塊を鼻神経膠腫と呼称して以来，この疾患は外国においてはかなりの報告がなされているが，本邦における報告は非常に稀である^1〜5）。最近われわれは，生下時より左鼻根部に増大傾向のある腫瘤を手術的に摘出し，病理組織学的にnasal glioma（鼻外型）の診断をえた症例を経験したので，若干の文献的考察を加え報告する。

　Glioma in the nasal region is very rare. A 4-month-old female infant presented a mass of 2 × 2,5 cm in the roof of the left nasal cavity which was found at birth.

　This mass was elastic soft but not fluctuating and the overlaying skin was not ulcerated nor discolored. The mass was fixed firmly to the skin, but it was not adhered to the underlaying tissue.

　Surgery was performed under general anesthesia, and the tumor was found just beneath the skin. There was a small defect of the left lateral nasal cartilage with which the mass was fixed without stalk extending to the nasal cavity.

　This tumor was diagnosed as nasal glioma (extranasal type) by pathohistological examination.
