両側耳下腺部に発生したpapillary cystadenoma lymphomatosum（Warthin's tumor）症例

Bilateral Papillary Cystadenoma Lymphomatosum (Warthin's tumor) of the Parotid Region

　I．緒言

　唾液腺腫瘍のなかでpapillary cystadenomalymphomatosum，いわゆるWarthin腫瘍は比較的稀とされており，しかもそのほとんどは一側性，孤立性である。今回われわれは，両側性に耳下腺部に発生したWarthin腫瘍患者を経験したので，九州がんセンターにおける過去の7症例とともに，若干の文献的ならびに臨床組織病理学的考察を加えて報告する。

　A 62-year-old male who noted a mass three years ago at the right parotid gland later found another mass near the left angle of the mandible. The tumors were totally removed and the histological exmination revealed so called Warthin's tumor. Post-operative progress of this patient has been well. Before this patient seven patients histologically diagnosed as having Warthin tumor, were treated in our clinic in the past nine years (1972-1981). They were all over fifty years old male and their clinical courses also were favorable. Incidence of this tumor for all parotid tumors was nine per cent (8/89) in our clinic. True etiologic factors of Warthin's tumor were still indistinct, however, according to our clinicohistopathological findings, histogenesis of this tumor might be abnormal proliferation of heterotopic epithelial elements, which would be growing parotid glands, into lymphoid tissue.
