実験動物マウスによる気道アレルギーの2症例

Two Casees of Mice Allergy

　I．はじめに

　動物によるアレルギー疾患は外国では古くからぺット愛好家，獣医，動物学者等にみられることが知られている。近年，欧米において実験の目的で動物を飼育し，それを取り扱っている研究者，技術者等の間に気管支喘息，アレルギー性鼻炎，アレルギー性結膜炎が惹起され職業性アレルギーの1つとして注目されてぎている。我国でのこの方面での報告は少ない。今回，我々は実験動物のマウスを取り扱っている研究者2名にみられた気道アレルギーを経験し，アレルギー学的諸検査を施行したので報告する。

　Two laboratory workers with respiratory allergy caused by mice are reported. They had been handling mice, and recently they developed sneezing, hyperrbinorrhea and nasal obstruction when they handled mice.

　One patient was also suffered from conjunctivitis and asthmatic attack.

　Specific IgE antibody to mouse extracts was demonstrated in their serum by Prausnitz-Kfistner test but specific IgG antibody was not detected using Ouchterlony technique.

　It is suggested that allergic symptoms in these cases were due to the mouse extracts, and that type I allergy had an important role in the induction mechanism of these symptoms.
