I．緒言
悪性腫瘍を特徴づける要素の1つに"転移"があり，悪性腫瘍を原発性腫瘍と転移性腫瘍とに大別することができる。耳鼻咽喉科領域の悪性腫瘍は，頸部リンパ節を除けばそのほとんどが原発性腫瘍であるが，文献的には腎癌を初めとして，多種の悪性腫瘍の転移例が報告されている。
眼球突出を初発症状とした精上皮腫の自験例に，頸部リソパ節を除く耳鼻咽喉科領域の転移性腫瘍に関する文献的検索を加えて報告する。
A 31-year-old male, complaining of exophthalmus of the left eye, presented the swollen and reddish bulla ethmoidalis in the left nasal cavity. Pathological diagnosis was suspicion of reticulum cell sarcoma. Fourteen months later, he complained of a painless enlargement of the right testicle, and orchiectomy was done. Pathological diagnosis was spermatocytic seminoma. Reevaluation of the biopsy specimen of the bulla ethmoidalis confirmed metastatic seminoma of the ethmoid sinus.
In the litelature, 9 cases of metastatic seminoma of the maxillary sinus and maxilla were reported, but no cases of metastatic seminoma of the ethmoid sinus.
