対側睾丸転移を来した精上皮腫の1例

CONTRALATERAL TESTICULAR METASTASIS OF SEMINOMA

緒言

　従来，両側に発生する精細胞性睾丸腫瘍は転移巣の有無にかかわらず，初発腫瘍および後発腫瘍の各々が原発であると考えられている。最近，われわれは両側の腫瘍の組織学的特徴より，後発腫瘍が初発腫瘍の広範な全身転移の一部分症としての，転移性睾丸腫瘍であつたと思われる1例を経験したので報告する。

A 69-year-old man was admitted with a complaint of left scrotal swelling on August. 7, 1981. CBCand blood chemistry were within normal limit including α-fetoprotein and β-HCG except for elevated LDH. Left high orchiectomy was performed under the diagnosis of testicular tumor which proved to be pathologically pure seminoma with typical seminoma cells forming nodular arrangement. Lymphographic and scintigraphic examinations were normal performed after the surgery.
