Osteoma of the Ethmoid Sinus

　I．はじめに

　篩骨洞骨腫は，欧米ではかなりの報告がみられるが，本邦では比較的稀である。筆者らは最近，左篩骨洞から発生したと考えられる骨腫症例を経験したので，若干の文献的考察を加え報告する。

　A case of osteoma of the left ethmoid sinus is reported. A man, aged 52, complained of nasalobstruction and postnasal drip. X-ray examination showed a mass in the left ethmoid sinus.

　The patient underwent lateral rhinotomy under local anesthesia and the mass was totally excised, and histological examination revealed osteoma. Other reports on similar cases in the literature were reviewed and discussed.
