　I．緒言

　Relapsing polychondritisは全身の軟骨組織が炎症，変性経過において侵される稀な系統的疾患である。以前にはpolychondropathy，systemic chondromaLacia，chronic atrophic polychondritisなどの名称で呼ばれてきたが，1960年Pearsonら^5）によつて初めてrelapsing polychondritisの名称が用いられ，本邦においてはわずか数例の報告^{7）9）12）13）17）〜19）}があるのみである。今回われわれは本疾患と考えられる1症例を経験したので，若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

　A woman, aged 21, died from repeated attacks of polychondritis. Search of literature showed only 7 similar cases reported in this country.

　The patient suffered repeated epistaxis, nasal blockage and alteration of the external nasal features due to chondritis of the nasal cartilages. However, the patient began to suffer attacks of severe coughing, dyspnea and hoarseness. These symptoms constantly repated themselves and she finnally died.
