  • Abstract
  • Look Inside

A case was reported of relapsing polychond-rids associated with ocular involvement. The patient, sixteen-year-old boy, had been subjected to the tracheotomy owing to severe dyspnea, the most important complication of this disease. The ocular symptoms consisted of dotted opaci-ties in the superficial layer of corneal stroma and episcleritis as well as serous iritis. We can find as yet one paper on this disease in ophth-almological literatures of Japan. The ophthal-mologists should bear this disease in mind, because the first manifestation may sometimes occur in the eye.
