反復性多発軟骨炎（Relapsing Polychondritis）の一症例とその文献学的考察

RELAPSING POLYCHONDRITIS

　Ⅰ．序論

　反復性多発軟骨炎は，全身の軟骨組織が系統的に侵される稀な疾患である。各国の報告例も現在約70例で，本邦にてはわれわれの例を含めて5例の報告があるにすぎない。本疾患の診断に果たす耳鼻咽喉科医の役割の重大さについて痛感したので，ここに報告し諸賢のご批判を仰ぐ次第である。

　A case of relapsing polychondritis is reported.

　A man, aged 66, complained of swelling and hyperemia of the both auricles. About 4 month later the external nose became involved with swelling and hyperemia with pain in the temporo-mandibular joint. The diagnosis of relapsing polychondritis was made through histological examinations, laboratory findings and clinical features that showed remissions. The use of corticosteroid therapy appeared to be the most effective in this patient.

　Ten months after the treatment the patient is kept well.

　There are only 5 cases of similar disease reported in the literature of this country.
