　Ⅰ．緒言

　いわゆる唾液腺混合腫瘍の好発部位は第1に耳下腺，ついで顎下腺であり，舌下腺はごくまれとされているが，口蓋の小唾液腺からも少なからず発生する。最近われわれは口蓋の小唾液腺より発生したと思われる2例のいわゆる混合腫瘍を経験し，手術的に治癒せしめたので報告する。症例1は軟口蓋に見られたものであり，症例2は硬口蓋に発生したもので，中心部に潰瘍を伴い最初悪性化を疑つたものであるが，2例ともに病理組織学的検索の結果はbenign pleomorphic adenoma（いわゆる混合腫瘍）であつた。

　The mixed tumor of the salivary glands seem to have a predilection of appearing in the parotid glands, but less so in the submandibular. Invol vements of the sublingual glands are consideredas a rare occurrence. However, such an occurrence in the small salivary glands of the palate appears to be equally frequent as those of the submandibular.

　The authors report 2 cases of mixed tumor of the salivary glands of the soft and hard palate with details of clinical procedure and of the histopathology of the growth. In the diagnosis of this tumor malignancy should be kept in mind especially when the growth involves the soft palate with ulceration. The treatment of this type of tumor is primarily surgical because of its response to irradiation appear to be poor. A complete surgical removal is highly necessary, otherwise, recurrence may be met with.
