Ⅰ．緒言
無顆粒細胞症Agranulocytoseは1922年，Werner Schultzが重症敗血症様の一般症状，急激な高熱，壊疸症口内炎を伴い，血中顆粒球がほとんど消失するという劇症の5症例を報告命名したものである（Schultzよりも先に本症と類似症例の文献もあるが，これをSchultzは独立疾患あるいは症候群として提唱し、学者の注目をひくにいたつた）。その後，欧米，本邦においても多数の報告があり決してまれなものではなく，かつ本症が口腔，咽頭に特有の変化をきたすため，われわれの領域で発見，報告されることがしばしばであり，古川1），大沢2），西端3），川嶋4），甲能5）らを始めとし，多数の優れた報告がある。Agranulocytoseは現在独立した疾患、としてではなく各種の原因によつて招来された骨髄障害の一つの症候群と考えられており，臨床的には白血球，ことに顆粒細胞の減少ないし消失とこれによる感染症状とを主徴とする疾患であるとされている。
本症の治療は輸血，薬剤などの進歩により大きな改善がもたらされたが，逆に薬剤，その他外因によると思われるものが増加している。私は続発性の3例を経験したので報告する。
Three cases of agranulocytosis, in which all three patients died, are reported.
The first case: A woman, aged 54, the leucocyte count was found to be reduced to 150 after the use of aminopyrin. The throat condition remained unchanged; the prominent feature was the presence of an acute otitis media.
The second case: A woman, aged 28, was affected with a cervical tumor that pointed to reticulosarcoma and enlarged tonsils. The leucocyte count was found to be reduced to 900 cells and the case may be considered as a aleukemic leukemia.
The third case: A man, aged 54, was affected with laryngeal reticulosarcoma that metastasized into the lungs. Following endoxan oral administration the leucocyte count was reduced to 75 cells/cc.
