　Ⅰ．緒言

　後鼻孔鼻茸は，Killian^1）（1905），久保^2）（1908）の原発部位に関する発表以来，本邦においても，数多くの症例が報告され，まれな疾患とはいえない。しかし，10歳以下の小児にみられる後鼻孔鼻茸は，文献上，比較的少ない。われわれは，6歳男子と9歳女子にみられた2例の後鼻孔鼻茸を経験したので報告する。

　Two cases of posterior nasal polyposis, one in a boy aged 6 who complained of a complete nasal obstruction, and the other a girl, aged 9, complaining of nasal voice, are reported. The growth was removed in the boy through a radical maxillary sinus operation and in the girl by a simple severencc of the pedunculated root of the polyp. By review of other literature the authors stress the need of performing such radical sinus operation even among the children at this age.
