重篤な全身症状を呈したプロタルゴール・アレルギー症例及びプロタルゴール鼻アレルギーの2例

PROTARGOL ALLERGY (A REPORT OF Three CASES)

　Ⅰ．緒言

　鼻疾患の治療に日常繁用されているプロタルゴールは副作用も皆無に近い程で，殆んど何らの考慮を払われることなくして使用されている。プロタルゴールは銀と蛋白の化合物であることからして本品によるアレルギーもうなづき得るものであるが文献をみても2,3の報告がみられるに過ぎず憂慮する程の反応は極めて稀なものと思われる。私共は最近3％プロタルゴールの噴霧に依り強度の呼吸困難と全身の皮膚発疹を招来した1例を経験したので報告する。併せてプロタルゴール塗布後に鼻閉，鼻漏，くしやみ発作を生じる所謂プロタルゴール鼻アレルギーの2例について報告し御批判を仰ぎたいと思う。

With a continued use of solution of protar-gol for nasal treatments a patient, aged 20, became highly allergic to this agent. In the beginning the allergic symptoms were limited to the nasal area alone but an alarming ana-phylactoid symptoms occurred with manifes-tation of a marked dyspnea when the sinus cavity was painted with the solution of pro targol as a closing treatment of the sinus operation. Thereafter, the patient became highly sensitive to exposure to protargol to the extent that a severe symptom would be manifested even with the use of a small amount of the agent. Severe allergic symp-toms were also noted in this patient when milk or milk-products were used. Two other similar cases are also reported.
