長期間プロタルゴール噴霧による鼻粘膜銀沈着の1例

A Case of Blue-gray Coloured Nasal Mucosa due to Deposition of Silver

I．はじめに

　重金属を含んだ薬物の外用あるいは内服により皮膚，粘膜に色素沈着をきたすことが知られているが，今回著者らは鼻内にプロテイン銀を長期間噴霧した結果，鼻粘膜が特異な金属様光沢を帯びた青灰色を呈した1症例を経験した。

　鼻粘膜の青灰色の色調は光顕・電顕所見およびX線マイクロアナライザーによってプロテイン銀の主成分である銀顆粒の沈着により生じたことが判明した。

　In a patient showing blue-gray color of nasal mucosa, the light and electron microscopic findings and x-ray microanalysis elucidated that discoloration of nasal mucosa was caused by deposition of silver particles which were resulted from nebulizaticn of silver protein containing solution for 20 years.

　The deposition were mainly found histopathologically in submucosal connective tissue sheath and in collagen just below basement membrane of the epithelium and in the basal lamina of small vessels. Electron opaque particles were also recognized in histiocvtes.
