興味ある経過を辿つた軟口蓋混合腫瘍の悪性変化症例

A MALIGNANT CHANGE IN A MIXED TUMOR OF THE SOFT PALATE

　Ⅰ．緒言

　口腔にはその発生学的，解剖学的複雑性に加えて，温熱的，機械的，化学的刺激により，他の領域に比較して極めて多くの腫瘍が発生する。中でも口蓋には癌腫の他，混合腫瘍，リンパ管腫，血管腫，線維腫，腺腫など多くの種類が認められる。このうち混合腫瘍は唾液腺とくに耳下腺に多発し，次いで顎下腺まれに口蓋その他の組織より発生するが，口蓋やその付近より発生したものは再発や悪性化を来たすことは比較的稀とされている。

　私共は最近軟口蓋に生じた腫瘤が肉眼的に一時完全に消失した状態となり，その後8ヵ月して再び同部位に増大して現われ，剔出組織検査の結果混合腫瘍の悪性化したものと判明し，再手術を行つた症例を経験したので，その興味ある経過について報告する。

A man aged 41 noted a swelling in the right side of the palate about the size of the thu-mb-head. Biopsy of this swelling revealed cancer-like cell degeneration and increase in the number. With injection of 50% sugar solution and essential amino-acids as non-specific treatment the swelling seemed to have disappeared for a time being. Eight months later, however, the swelling became noticeable again. A microscopic examination of the growth after its removal revealed malignant changes in the original mixed tumor.
