　I．緒言

　上顎肉腫は決して稀なものではないが，血管肉腫の報告は少ない。最近我々は，確定診断に困難であつた血管肉腫の症例を経験し，且腫瘍細胞の血中出現に関して興味ある所見を得たので，茲に報告する。

　Vascular sarcoma, rare in occurrence, originating in the maxillary sinus is found in a man, aged 64. The patient complained of swelling of left cheek, pain, exophthalmos and obstructed breathing through the left nose.

　Anticarcinomatous and irradiation treatments were tried before and after the surgical intervention : the patient died 1 month after the operation. Blood examination showed malignant tumor cells within the circulating blood.
