幼兒に発生せる上顎肉腫症例

　緒言

　上顎肉腫は上顎癌に比し若年者に発生するものであるが，10歳未満の幼兒に発生することは極めて稀である．私は最近満6歳9ケ月の幼兒に発生した上顎肉腫を経驗したが，その経過に於ても興味深いものがあるので報告する次第である．

Kishi reports that a case of sarcoma of maxil-lary sinus (small round cell sarcoma) was met with in a child 6 years of age. Removal of the growth was effected with Culdwell-Luc opera-tion. Shortly thereafter, metastatic growth appeared on the mandible of the opposite side, which called for surgical intervention for the second time. Signs for slight remission of the disease were apparent for a time with admini-stration of deep X-ray therapy. However, the patient developed exopthalmos gradually on the originally affected side; enlargement of the li-ver, (which was thought as metastatic ?); and the patient finally succumbed to death.
