　Ⅰ．緒言

　上顎肉腫の発生は，上顎癌にくらべて比較的少ない。そのなかでも，血管肉腫の発生は，非常にまれであり，本邦での報告も数少ない。最近，我々は，左上顎に発生した血管肉腫を，一例経験したので報告する。

A man, aged 53, complained of nasal blo-ckage and a constant dull pain in the cheek on the left side of his face. The diagnosis of angiosarcoma of the left maxillary bone was established. Total extirpation of the maxillary bone was performed. For post-operative treatment irradiation by radium needles was given to the amount of 1,008 mgh and administration of 3,400 mg of endo-xan. From the biopsy examination of opera-ted region performed at 3 different occasions no recurrence has been noted.
