　Ⅰ．緒言

　耳鼻咽喉科領域の悪性腫瘍中，血管肉腫は数少いものであるが，さらに上顎に発生せるものについてはその報告が極めて少い。われわれは最近右上顎に発生した腫瘤を腫瘍あるいは血瘤腫の疑いのもとに別出し，組織学的検索の結果，血管肉腫（悪性血管内被細胞腫）なることを知り，さらに放射線深部照射を施したが比較的短時日に局所再発を認め，肺転移が推定された1症例を経験したので，ここに報告する。

A man, aged 27, was affected with endothe-liosarcoma of the right maxillary sinus. The patient complained of epistaxis;tumor was suspected. A tumor the size of pigeon's egg was found in the right maxillary sinus; the diagnosis of endothelioma was made microsco-pically. After surgical removal of the tumor the patient was treated by local application of Co⁶⁰ irradiation but soon metastatic growths were found in the riht maxillary sinus and the lungs.
