　緒言

　一般に聴器より発生せる悪性腫瘍は稀れではあるが，病理解剖学的並びに臨床的に特異なる所見を呈する黒色肉腫に至りては，其報告例極めて稀れであつて，其の構造並びに発生機転に就て今なお不明の点多く，特異の腫瘍として種々論究せられつつある。

　最近当教室に於て，外耳道より発生し，2ヵ月余にして頭蓋内へ浸襲し，全身転移を起せし黒色肉腫の1症例を経験したので，此れに調べ得られた本邦文献に就て聊かの考察を加え，此処に報告する次第である。

A fatal case of melanoma is reported. A woman, aged 56, complained of a growth in her right ear that reached the size of a goo-se egg within a period of 2 months time; the tumor obliterated the external canal and oc-cupied the pina. With a clinical diagnosis of aural tumor the patient was operated. Howe-ver, the patient died of heart failure 28 hou-rs after the operation. Necropsy showed the tumor to be a melanoma that invaded the te-mporal bone with extensions into the arach-noidal membrane and intracranial space. It also showed invasion of the lung tissues, ribs, sternum, liver, spleen and kidneys. Reports of 137 cases of melanoma are lound in the literature of this country since 1927.
