　緒言

　血管腫は主として顔面，頭部，頸部に発生し，所謂「赤痣」として美容上問題となるとこが多い。耳鼻咽喉科領域に於ては，外鼻に発生する他，鼻中隔，鼻腔，副鼻腔内に発生し，就中，鼻中隔に最も多く見られ，副鼻腔内の発生は稀であるとされている。而してその小さなものは限局性のことが多いが，大きいものでは屡変化が深部にまで及んでいることがある。最近我々は，左顔面に約手掌大の海綿状血管腫を有する患者に，上顎洞蓄膿症の手術を行う機会を得，副鼻腔内血管にも異常が存在するのを認めた症例に遭遇したので，此処に報告する次第である。

Hamazaki and Goto report a case of maxi-llary sinusitis that presented and abnormal vascular developments in the sinus cavity. The patient, a man aged 35, was affected with hemangioma on the left side of the face to a considerable area that extended also over the mucous membrane of the maxilla. With diagnosis of maxillary sinusitis of the side affected with hemangioma the patient was operated upon: the mucous membrane of the sinus cavity showed extension of that invol-vement with definite signs of pulsation in the structure.
