家族的発生を見たストレプトマイシンに因る聴覚障害症例

　Ⅰ．緒言

　ストレプトマイシン，特にヂヒドロストレプトマイシンが聴器に対して重篤な副作用を惹き起し得るものであることは既に周知の事実であるが，それが発生の機転及び治療に関しては未だ全く不可解であると云はざるを得ない。私達は先年来本問題に関して主として臨床面からこの追究を行つているが，本問題に関聯して多大なる示唆を与えると思われる症例に相遇したのでここに報告して大方の御批判を得たいと思う。

Ohuchi and associates report that in 6 fam-ilies under their care there occurred deafne-ss due to streptomycin therapy in the avera-ge of more than two among the membhrs of the same family. The authors contend that streptomycin deafness might be regarded as familial affection and consequently, with such concept in view, for necessary therapy attainment of a good familial ristory may be contributable to prevention and avoiding the onset of such deafness.
