　緒言

　昭和10年より昭和29年まで最近20年間に我が教室に入院せる鼻咽腔腫瘍患者68例について統計的に観察したので報告し諸賢の参考に供したいと思う。

Honjo conducts a survey in cases of naso-pharyngeal tumors from case-histories of thepatients at the Kyusnu University Medical School accumulated for the last 20 years. There were 68 cases in total. Fibroma was found in 36.8%; sarcoma, 32.3%; and carcinoma, 26.5%. Both sarcoma and carcinoma covered various age groups and prognosis in these affectionsappeared to be exceedingly poor. Prolongation of life beyond three years after institution of treatment was found only in 2 cases which were that of carcinoma; other cases have all died within a period of 1 year.
