　緒言

　耳鼻咽喉科領域に発生する，黒色素を含有する腫瘍は比較的稀なものであり，而もその大部分は黒色肉腫であつて，黒色癌の報告は稀である。私共は最近，歯槽突起より硬口蓋に亘つて発生した黒色癌の1例に遭遇したのでその大要を述べて，本症の資料の1として追加し，併せて若干の文献的考察を試みたい。

KUROZUMI and MAKIYAMA report a case of melanosarcoma in the maxillary bone of a patient, a man aged 66. The patient gave a history of having been called to his attention existence dark discolorations in his upper jaw. The growth appeared to have been originated from the alveola fossa and gradually extended into the right hard palate. The diagnosis is established by examination of biopsy specimen. What stimulated the spread of the growth was probably the removal of the upper teeth.
