　I．緒言

　悪性黒色腫はその名の示す如く経過不良で，浸潤性の発育をなし，再発，早期転移を来し不幸な転帰をとる例が多い。耳科領域のみならず他の科に於いてもこの症例はその他の悪性腫瘍に比して著しく少い^3）ことは事実である。今般，硬口蓋に初発し上顎全般に浸潤して，再三に亘る手術的療法，レ線照射療法にも拘らず，遂に全臓器に転移し死亡した症例に遭遇したので，その全経過並びに剖検所見の大要を報告する次第である。

Suzuki reports a case of melanoma in whom the initial symptom appeared as a discolored spot on the hard palate. Repeated operative intervention aided by irradiation treatment failed to bring a cure of the condition and the patient died 3 years and 2 months after the onset of the disease. Necropsy showed the tumor metastasized into all internal org-ans is well as the spinal column.
