鼻科的手術により治癒した音聲障碍2例

　従来音声障碍に際して，鼻腔，副鼻腔，咽頭等の上気道疾患が関与する場合が多いことは広く知られており，この事に関しては颯田，衛藤，河野等の業続があり，又最近関谷が副鼻腔根治手術による音声障碍治験例を報告している。私も最近九大在局中に慢性副鼻腔炎或は萎縮性鼻炎を有する音声障碍の症例に遭遇し，何れも副鼻腔或は鼻腔疾患に対し観血的療法を行うことによつて，幸いに治癒せしめることが出来たので，こゝに具体的に報告したいと思う。

　SENTO maintains that for a successful treatment of hoarseness, which may persist with repeated attacks under most forms of treatment, a complete cure of nassal conditions commonly manifested by chronic sinusitis or atrophic rhinitis should be established: the importance of this fact cannot be overly emphasised. The author reports 32 cases of hoarseness in which cure was established in all ofthem by surgical treatment of nasal con ditionsand establishment of cure in chronic sinusitisor atrophic rhinitis that occurred concommitantly with the disease.
