I．はじめに

　小児の髄膜腫は成人に比して比較的稀な腫瘍である．その頻度は15歳未満の小児脳腫瘍中，Matson^6）0.4％，若井ら^14）1.4％，Mendirattaら^7）1.5％，Koosら^5）2.2％，全国統計^9）2.3％である．今回われわれは15歳未満の小児脳腫瘍167例のうち6例（3.6％）の髄膜腫を経験し，そのうち3例が悪性髄膜腫であったので，この3症例を中心に，その臨床病理学的所見について報告する．

Six cases of meningiomas which accounted for 3.6%out of 167 intracranial tumors in children were studiedwith clinico-pathological method.

Four meningiomas located in the convexity, twomeningiomas developed within the lateral ventricle.CT scan with contrast material showed homogeneousenhanced tumors in four cases. Heterogeneous en-hanced tumors were observed in two malignantmeningiomas. There was evidence of recurrence inthree cases. Two of in these cases were malignantmeningiomas. Three patients received postoperativeradiotherapy.
