Electoron Microscopic Study of Oligodendrogliomas

I．はじめに

　ヒトのoligodendrogliomaの電子顕微鏡による超微形態学的研究はLuse^4），Raimondi^9）をはじめとして多くの人達によりなされてきたが，その特徴的所見については必ずしも諸家の報告が一致しているとはいえない．Arendt^1）の指摘するように，Oligodendrogliomaには，光顕でvariationが存在することも，その大きな理由の1つであろう．そこで著者らは10例のoligodendro-gliomaの手術標本について電子顕微鏡観察を行った．oligodendrogliomaの超微形態を論ずるとき，ラットやマウスの正常のOligodendrogliaの電顕像が参考になるが^5-7,13），今回，著者らは10例のうちの1例から得た腫瘍周辺の正常脳組織と思われる部位のoligodendrogliaの超微形態をも参考にした．文献と比較しつつ著者らの得たoligodendrogliomaの超微形態について報告する．また光顕レベルでみられるperinuclear haloについても少しく考察を加えた．

Ten cases of human oligodendroglioma were examinedwith electron microscope. The materials were specimensderived through surgical operations.

Results were as follow. The shape of tumor cells arevarious, round, oval, polygonal and irregular. The majorityof tumor cells have round or ovoid nuclei, some have ir-regular nuclei or nuclear indentation. Chromatin distri-butions tend to clump. In the cytoplasm, there are com-monly ribosomes, rough surfaced endoplasmic reticulums,mitochondria, microtubules and lysosome. Glial filamentis rare or almost absent. Crystalline structures are seenin 3 cases.
