脊髄硬膜外転移で再発した頭蓋内膠芽腫の1例

Spinal Epidural Metastasis of A Glioblastoma Multiforme: A case report

I．はじめに

　膠芽腫が中枢神経系の他の部位のみならず頭蓋外にも転移しうることについては，すでにいくつかの報告があり，よく知られている．今回われわれは，開頭術後約1年を経て膠芽腫が胸髄硬膜外転移をきたし再発した極めて稀と思われる1例を経験したので，臨床病理学的検討と若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する．

It is generally accepted that the metastases of intra-cranial glioma to extracranial location are rare. Insuch a case the minimal criteria proposed originallyby Weiss should usually be satisfied if a report is to beconsidered as an acceptable case of metastasizingcentral nervous system glioma outside the centralnervous system. We report a case of glioblastomamultiforme, fulfilling Weiss' criteria, metastasizingthe spinal epidural space.

The patient was a 32-year-old male, who underwentcraniotomy and subtotal removal of a glioblastomamultiforme in the left parietooccipital area.
