Ⅰ．いとぐち

　外傷性動静脈瘻は体表面に近く動静脈が平行して走行する部位に好発する．浅側頭動静脈はその好発部位の一つと考えられる．しかし，外力の強度によっては血管は断裂，動脈瘤形成または動静脈瘻形成など種々の病態をとり，外傷性浅側頭動脈瘤に関しては可成り多くの報告がみられるが，外傷性浅側頭動静脈瘻の報告は少く，Schechter and Gutstein（1970）^5）の報告をもとにして文献2），3）を追加すれば25例となり，本邦では倉本ら（1969）^4）の第1例日の報告につぎ菅根ら（1971）^6）の第2例目の報告があるのみである．

　われわれは外傷後3日目に発生した浅側頭動静脈瘻が10年間放置されていた症例の根治例を経験したので報告する．本例は本邦では第3例目，文献上では28例目の症例と考えられる．

A case of traumatic arteriovenous fistula of the right superficial temporal artery, apparently of traumatic origin is reported.

Ten years ago this 34-year-old man had a head injury in fight. Three days after this accident, the patient noticed that a murmur in his right ear and the pulsatile vessel mass on his right temporal region had developed. These were left without any treatment since that time.

Continuous murmur was recarded on the dilated vessel in anterior lower portion of the right temporal region. This murmur disappeared by temporary compression of the right carotid artery.
